So we’re wounding up to the last few days of school and most students are finishing up their last few projects and papers. Unfortunately, I’m also finishing my creative writing project for the semester, making this my last blog post 😦
When i first heard my professor tell us that we needed to make a blog for the class stretching out for the entire semester, I literally thought to myself “what the heck am I supposed to even write about”. I definitely knew i wanted to give people some sort of advice and then again i thought, ‘how am i supposed to give other people advice when i don’t even have my own life together’.

However, that all quickly changed as I kept writing more and more blog posts. The whole theme behind my blog was just to give advice about college from a current student standpoint. I wanted to keep it really short and simple and straight to the point. I really tried to give pieces of advice that most people wouldn’t even think about giving and tried to avoid giving you typical advice you tend to hear everyday from those around you. Anyone reading some of my posts might have thought that some of the tips I suggested were silly or nonessential, but honestly these tips were based on my experiences and what I did to help ease some of the challenges college might bring upon you.
Even though these blog posts were a requirement for my class, I never thought i would actually begin to enjoy this assignment. I just thought this would be another annoying and draining assignment. But i have to say, reflecting back on my own experiences and being able to project my insight on certain topics was sort of therapeutic. It let me escape from my day-to-day draining schedule of classes and workload. Again, as i mentioned before it was nice digging back into past experiences both good and bad and even current situations.
So my last final tip for this blog is to MAKE A BLOG!! I know you might be like uh no thank you. But seriously, i suggest you possibly being open to the idea of doing so. You can make it literally about anything that you’d like. Some people might be afraid to do so because they might think that other people might not be interested in it. However, you’d be sooo surprised at how many people share the same interests and hobbies as you. Again, you obviously don’t need a million followers because i think even if you just have about 3 poeple following your post it can go a long way. It gets your mind off of your everyday stresses and let’s you write about or even express things that you actually enjoy.

That being said I really hope people enjoyed reading my blog and were able to gain some valuable tips. Hopefully those that did read some of my posts were able to connect and might try out the tips i suggested when need be!
